Helping a team of some of the world’s leading scientists translate their words into content that the average reader can understand was no easy feat—but we’re always up for a challenge. We worked with their team to help explain their cutting-edge science to their website visitors while building an on-brand voice and tone.

As part of creating their brand identity, we worked with the OpenLight team to craft their brand promise, positioning, messaging, and voice & tone. We put it all together in a messaging framework document that provided clear guidance to their future content creators on how to create compelling and brand-aligned copy moving forward.

Leveraging the format and design of the white paper template we also created for Synopsys, we copyedited client-provided copy to fit the brand voice & tone. Because it needed to work for technical and non-technical (media) audiences, we also made suggestions on how to organize the content to make it relevant and accessible for both groups.
